1:51 p.m. Monday — Jason N. Sinks, 25, of Butler turned himself in to police on an arrest warrant. He was arraigned on charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, stemming from the warrant issued to city police June 24, and released on his own recognizance.10:34 p.m. Sunday — Heather D. Martino, 23, of Center Township was hurt when the car she was driving struck another car that was parked on Mercer Street. Martino, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

10:36 p.m. Sunday — Zachary Frobe, 23, of Lyndora is accused of breaking into a home on Main Street in Lyndora and stealing money. Frobe is charged with burglary.7:01 p.m. Sunday — A vehicle driven by Kasy Bell, 26, of Butler sideswiped a truck on Route 356 at the Route 422 off-ramp. Bell was cited for failure to yield to other traffic and careless driving. Shawn Edwards, 45, of Butler was driving the truck.2:10 a.m. Saturday — Shawn D. Ames, 27, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Litman Road. Police also cited Ames for careless driving.2:45 a.m. July 7 — Joshua Wallis, 23, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 8.

Wednesday — A laptop computer valued at $1,500 and a wallet containing a small amount of cash and credit cards was taken from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of McConnell Street. The theft happened between 9 and 9:30 p.m.

Monday — Davon D. Stevens, 19, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly sold six stamp bags of suspected heroin in Butler. Stevens was arraigned on charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail.

10 p.m. Saturday — Marlin L. Berry, 28, and Ashley L. Berry, 26, both of Evans City, were arrested after a domestic dispute on Route 68 near Shannon Road in Connoquenessing Township. Both suspects were arraigned on charges of simple assault and placed in the Butler County Prison.

1 p.m. Monday — John R. McCauley Jr., no age given, of Grove City was caught after allegedly breaking into a home on Piela Way in Wolf Creek Township. Police arrested McCauley at the home, where he had taken prescription medication and a diamond ring.The suspect was arraigned on charges of burglary, trespass and theft, and placed in the Mercer County Jail on $5,000 bail.Friday — An unknown vandal overnight damaged a mailbox at a home on Schmidt Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County.July 16 — The ignition key for a 2000 Volvo was stolen at Ruth's Auto Sales on Jackson Center Polk Road in Worth Township, Mercer County. The theft happened between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Sunday — Someone smashed a window of a pickup truck and stole a wallet from the vehicle on Frew Mill Road in the Kennedy's Mill area in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The wallet, owned by a Butler woman, contained credit cars, other personal identification and a small amount of money.Anyone with information about the theft, which happened between 3 and 5:10 p.m., is asked to call police at 724-598-2211.6 p.m. July 7 — A Portersville woman lost a .380-caliber Ruger pistol in a blue finish and personal identification cards while kayaking on Slippery Rock Creek in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The belongings were in dry bag. Anyone who found the items is asked to call police.
