BRADY TWP — Citizen scientists will have a chance to join in the Great Backyard Bird Count from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 18 at Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road.

The annual bird count encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to contribute to scientific research.

During a basic birding workshop and indoor observation, participants will learn to observe birds at home and submit counts.

The event is for age 12 and older. Jennings staff will explain the count procedures, and members of Bartramian Audubon Society will assist.
