Ronan Miller had a goal and assist, but Butler’s varsity hockey team dropped a 5-2 decision to Peter’s Township Tuesday night.

Cody Reep had a goal and Troy Gilliland an assist for the Golden Tornado. Connor Strobel made 35 saves in goal.

Butler hosts Bethel Park at 7:10 p.m. Monday at the Frozen Pond.

[naviga:h3]5 SR soccer players in all-star game[/naviga:h3]

SLIPPERY ROCK — Five seniors from the Slippery Rock High School girls soccer team have been selected to play in the All-Star Game Nov. 18 at Sharon High School.

The girls game is at 1 p.m., the boys game at 3 p.m.

The five Rockets chosen are Emily Sarver, Tessa McHattie, Sam Harriett, Kira Bellis and Michaella Roth. All of the all-stars are from Region 2 Class AA and AAA.
