12:18 a.m. Saturday — Jacquelynn Vidmar, 46, of Center Township was arrested for driving under the influence at South Main and Walnut streets. Police also cited Vidmar for a pair of lighting violations and not using her turn signal.
11:13 a.m. Thursday — Police arrested Lawrence Vincent Scarito II, 28, of Slippery Rock on DUI and drug charges following a traffic stop on South Duffy Road.Scarito is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and public drunkenness.
Sunday — Devin Brain, 20, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle struck a ditch and tree and then rolled over at Seven Hills and Cartwright roads in Concord Township.2:15 a.m. Tuesday — Michael Mershimer, 41, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 8 and Hall Road in Brady Township.
7:20 p.m. Sunday — A Butler County woman was hurt in a two-vehicle collision on Route 22 near Mushroom Mine Road in West Franklin, Armstrong County.Police said Michele Ann Konyha, 31, of Fenelton was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital after a tractor-trailer struck her car. Leo Kennette, 52, of Ontario, Canada, was driving the rig.
11:50 a.m. Saturday — Two people were injured in a three-vehicle, chain-reaction collision on Route 58 in front of County Market in Pine Township, Mercer County.Police said the crash occurred when a sport utility vehicle driven by Rachel Beck, 17, of Mercer struck the rear of a minivan driven by Brock Morocco, 54, of Hermitage. The collision forced the van into a car driven by Angela Yoder, 29, of Mercer.Morocco and a passenger in the car, a 6-year-old girl, were treated for neck and back pain at the Grove City Medical Center.
