Richard and Rita Flinn

Richard and Rita Flinn of Saxonburg celebrated 60 years of marriage with a dinner dance on the Gateway Clipper.

Flinn married the former Rita Kistler April 19, 1949, in Greenville. The Rev. John Cronin officiated.

They have five children, Louanna Sowa of South Carolina, Victoria Rowe of Butler, Richard Flinn Jr. of Harrisburg, Kelly Huselton of Florida and Shawn Flinn of Virginia.

They also have 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Flinn retired in 1991 from Bessemer Railroad. He is a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member. His wife is a homemaker.The couple belongs to Holy Sepulcher Church, where Mr. Flinn serves as a Eucharistic minister and a proclaimer.
