Michael Traverso has the role of Mr. Mushnik in the Seneca Valley High School production of “Little Shop of Horrors.” The musical will be presented March 4, 5, 6, 11 and 12.

JACKSON TWP — Seneca Valley High School will present the musical “Little Shop of Horrors” at 7:30 p.m. March 4, 5, 11 and 12 and at 2 p.m. March 6 at the school, 124 Seneca School Road.

Composed by Alan Menken and written by Howard Ashman, the story centers around a down-and-out skid row floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood.

Soon, “Audrey II” grows into an ill-tempered singing carnivore that offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite.

The show is being directed by Stephen Santa, with Aaron Magill as producer and vocal director, Bruce Smith as orchestra director and Nathan Hart as choreographer.

Student directors and producers are Jennie Smith, Erica Glynn and Camaria Lehman. Student house manager is Haley Maskrey.
