CRANBERRY TWP — A Mini Maker Faire — a celebration of the worldwide Maker Movement and a showcase of the Cranberry Public Library's new MakerSpace project — will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 11 in the municipal center.

The free event will be a family friendly display of invention and creativity for tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, artisans, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, students and others.

Cranberry's library MakerSpace is a joint project of Cranberry Township and Cranberry Township Community Chest, with support from a $476,000 Keystone Fund matching grant.

Makers from throughout the Western Pennsylvania area have been invited to participate in the Cranberry event.
