Miriam Boyle Timblin, 84, of Butler Township died at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday at UPMC Presbyterian hospital.

Born Aug. 9, 1923, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Mervyn Boyle and Maude Woodburn.

Mrs. Timblin was a homemaker.

She was an active member of the Community Alliance Church, where she was a former member of the choir, a member of the Alliance Women and a former deaconess.

Surviving are her husband, Clarence L. "Curly" Timblin, whom she married Nov. 12, 1971; four daughters, Mrs. Roger (Karen) Wells of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Konny Wellington of San Pablo, Calif., Mrs. Harry (Gloria) Frenchak of Spring Branch, Texas, and Mrs. Sandra Amos of San Antonio, Texas; four sons and their wives, James and Janice Brys of Warren, Pa., Ronald and Dorothy Brys of Austin, Texas, Randy and Patti Timblin of Pipe Creek, Texas, and Richard and Diane Timblin of State College; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

<B>TIMBLIN </B>— Friends of Miriam Boyle Timblin, who died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Community Alliance Church, Mercer Road, with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt.
