3:57 a.m. Feb. 23 — Police said Paul Eardley, 59, of Butler, was charged with simple assault and harassment after an altercation with a 53-year-old Butler woman on the 100 block of Charles Drive.

Thursday — Multiple firearms and other items were stolen from several vehicles in the 100 block of Naughton Circle, Forward Township, between 10 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday. Police said someone broke into multiple vehicles at homes in the area and stole several handguns, including a Ruger LCR, a Glock 23 and a Smith and Wesson .40-caliber, as well as a pair of Vortex binoculars, a wallet and about $300 in cash. Anyone with information should contact police.

Feb. 9 — Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on the 200 block of Rimerton Road, Templeton, sometime on Feb. 9. Police said someone forced entry into a camp and stole a TV, router, icemaker, blender, crossbow, air rifle, heater, security system, a Bluetooth speaker and a cordless drill, valued at a total of $5,620. The investigation is ongoing.
