Howard G. Houston, 55, of Butler passed away suddenly Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 22, 1954, in Butler, the son of Howard L. Houston Jr. and Ceola (Engle) Houston of Carlisle.

Howard was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Butler Moose Lodge.

He enjoyed collecting antique toys, riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and mostly spending time with his family.

He was employed by Ervin Industries in Butler since 1981 as a melt shop supervisor.

He attended Butler High School.

Also surviving are his wife, Terri (Lascuola) Houston, who he married May 17, 1980; a daughter, Christina Houston at home; two sons, Howard L. Houston III and Joshua Houston, both at home; a sister, Joyce Houston of Carlisle; a brother, David Houston of Carlisle; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Houston.

<B>HOUSTON</B> — Friends of Howard G. Houston, who died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Butler. Interment will be private.For more information, go to www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
