Riley Davis and Rozina McCanna were crowned king and queen of the Karns City High School prom.

Riley Davis and Rozina McCanna were crowned king and queen of the Karns City High School prom July 17 at the Butler Country Club.

Rozina is the daughter of Brent and Monica McCanna of East Brady.

Riley is the son of Larry and Kim Davis of East Brady.

The theme of the outside prom was “Country Nights.”

The prom court included master of ceremonies Brayden Stuchell, son of James and Robin Stuchell of Karns City; mistress of ceremonies Haylee Hartle, daughter of Todd and Jenni Hartle of Chicora; prince David Friel, son of Joe and Marcie Friel of Chicora; and princess Madison Eyth, daughter of Brandon and Shannon Eyth of Petrolia.

Candidates for king included Corry Dunmyer, son of Terry and Tammy Dunmyer of Fenelton; Anthony Kamenski, son of Kevin and Gretchen Kamenski of Chicora; Ethan McElroy, son of David and Terri McElroy of Chicora; and Daunte Young, son of Eric and Carrie Young of Chicora.

Candidates for queen included Jolena Bailey, daughter of Colin and Melissa Bailey of Karns City; Josephine Bailey, daughter of Colin and Melissa Bailey of Karns City; Elizabeth DeRose, daughter of John and Danielle DeRose of Karns City; and Cassidy Nolan, daughter of Shane and Amanda Nolan of Chicora and Josh and Nikki Smith of Chicora.
