Freeport Bridge expected to reopen in a few hours
ALLEGHENY TWP, Westmoreland County — The Freeport Bridge will reopen about 5 or 6 p.m. today after being closed since late this morning.
The bridge has been closed since a truck carrying an oversized load took down utility lines at Route 356 and Key Lane, according to Allegheny Township Police.
Officials have been rerouting traffic since about 11:15 a.m.
