3:30 p.m. Saturday — Nancy Major, 64, of Butler was injured when he car slid off snow-covered Meridian Road near Heather Drive and struck a tree. Police said she suffered a head injury and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Major’s condition was not available. Her car had to be towed.

6:28 p.m. Friday — The right rear tire of a vehicle driven by Madeline Gilliland, 18, of Butler blew out as she was headed east on Route 422. The tire shredded and damaged her vehicle, rendering it inoperable.

The teen was not hurt but her car had to be towed.

10:41 p.m. Thursday — A 53-year-old Gibsonia man, who police did not identify, is suspected of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 228 at Route 8 in Middlesex Township.
