Veterans who served between Nov. 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975 are invited by U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., state Rep. Marci Mustello, R-11th, and the Butler County commissioners to a ceremony honoring Vietnam-era veterans with a 50th-anniversary commemorative pin.

The event will be held at 10 a.m. March 31 at American Legion Post 778 at 150 Legion Memorial Lane in Butler.

Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces between those dates, regardless of location, will be eligible to receive the commemorative lapel pin.

Family members are invited to attend with veterans.
