Campbell wields hot bat in Moniteau victory
Cory Campbell had two singles, a double and three RBI as Moniteau outslugged Union 13-5 in high school baseball Monday night.
Garth Kohlmeyer drove in two runs for the Warriors (3-1).
Cruz Eshenbaugh picked up the win for Moniteau.
Adam Milanovich hit a two-run home run in the third inning for Union (1-4).
In other action:
Mike Barch struck out 10 batters over seven innings as Freeport won a sloppy 10-6 decision over West Shamokin.
The two teams combined to commit 13 errors.
Nate Kurtz singled twice and drove in two runs for the Yellowjackets (3-3, 2-1).
Adam Fleming and Zach Zollner each had a pair of doubles, but Mars just fell short in a 5-4 loss to Pine-Richland.

Butler's boys competed in the Mt.
