CONNOQUENESSING TWP — Visitors to the second annual Butler County Home Show this weekend at the Family Sports Center, Route 68, will find ideas on home improvement, decorating and landscaping projects.
From Friday through Sunday, exhibits, seminars and demonstrations will educate and entertain those interested in one-stop shopping for information, advice and inspiration.
Show highlights will include nearly 100 exhibitors, organic gardening advice from Doug Oster, home remodeling advice from Andy Amrhein and “Ask the Vet” sessions with Dr. Ann Herschl Cirillo of Seven Fields Veterinary Hospital.
Show hours will be 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday with free parking at the Family Sports Center.
On Friday evening, the Clearview Federal Credit Union will offer free admission for those attending. Admission on Saturday and Sunday will be $5 for adults and free for youths age 12 and younger.
The home show, sponsored by Clearview Federal Credit Union, Bottom Dollar Food and the Butler Eagle, will showcase home products, decorating, construction and remodeling ideas.
Experts staffing exhibit booths from A to Z — that's Agway Water Treatment of Western Pennsylvania to Z Heating Cooling Plumbing — will share information and encourage shoppers to compare, try and buy.
That information will range from landscaping and heating and cooling to windows, roofing and kitchens.
