FRANKLIN TWP — The annual Woodland Quilt Show display of quilts and quilting will be held Friday through Sunday at Camp Lutherlyn, off Dick Road.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $5 each day. Proceeds benefit the Lutherlyn Campership Fund and will be matched by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

A lecture will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on the legends of quilts and their role in the Underground Railroad.

In addition to quilts and wall hangings, there will be quilt demonstrations, vendors from area quilt shops, baked goods and honey and craft vendors.

MIDDLESEX TWP — The Lighthouse Foundation, 1302 Cruikshank Road, will host a Winter Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 21.The event will include crafters, a bake sale, a Chinese auction, food and prizes. LYNDORA — The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 778 will host a fashion show, featuring Clothes by Phyllis at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the post home, 150 Legion Memorial Lane.Tickets are $6.50 in advance or $7 at the door. The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church will host a rummage sale and soup and salad meal from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Butler Catholic School.

GROVE CITY — A Contra Dance will be held Saturday at the Grove City YMCA, 543 E. Main St. Ext.Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the dance will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

SAXONBURG — Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, Main Street, will host its annual fall festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.The event will include a craft and bake sale, barbecued chicken dinner, Chinese auction, trash and treasure sale and snack bar.

KITTANNING — St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Our Lady of Guadalupe, will host its annual Fall Craft Show and Gift Item Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the parish hall, 361 N. Jefferson St.The show will feature more than 50 craft vendors and food will be available for purchase. Agift will be presented to all attendees at 12:30 p.m.Notices, in writing, of festivals, fundraising events, newly elected officers and other news from clubs and nonprofit groups should be sent to the Focus department one week in advance of the event.
