9:02 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Nancy Zavacky, 74, of Lyndora struck a vehicle parked on Kohler Avenue.2:41 p.m. Dec. 13 — A tractor trailer driven by Brady Sinnes, 42, of Crestline, Ohio, crashed into a utility pole on South McKean Street near East Jefferson Street. Sinnes was cited for leaving the scene of an accident. No injuries were reported.
2:20 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Michelle P. Martini, 56, of West Sunbury crashed on Route 308 in Clay Township. Martini was not injured and was wearing a seat belt.1 a.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Laura Leach, 27, crashed and rolled over on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek township. Leach and a 5-year-old girl riding in the car were taken to Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.10:45 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Peter W. Browary, 53, of Slippery Rock crashed on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. He was not injured and was wearing a seat belt.10:45 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by a 17-year-old boy crashed on Boy Scout Road near Route 528 in Connoquenessing Township. The boy was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.11:30 a.m. Sunday — Someone broke into the Coleman Lane residence of Jason and Jennifer Kennedy in Clinton Township and stole $300 in cash and a silver Buck knife between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. Sunday.11:30 p.m. Nov. 9 — Tina Marie Freehling, 20, of Sarver was charged with filing false reports to authorities.
7:30 p.m. Friday — Someone stole four chrome hubcaps and a trailer hitch, valued at $400, belonging to Richard L. Meyers of Rimersburg from the Union High School parking lot in Madison Township between 6 and 7:30 p.m. Friday. Anyone with information should call police at 814-226-1710.
Monday — A car driven by Bruce Opitz, 76, of Grove City and a minivan driven by Harold Steele Sr., 60, collided on Springfield Church Road near Cranberry Road in Pine Township. Steele, Opitz and Opitz's passenger Nancy Opitz, 72, also of Grove City were all taken to Grove City Medical Center with moderate injuries. All three individuals were wearing seat belts. Bruce Opitz was cited for a traffic violation.9 p.m. Saturday — Someone broke into a home on Airport Road in Pine Township and tried to steal various items between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday.8:56 p.m. Dec. 18 — Someone driving a green Jeep and wearing a green hooded sweatshirt pumped $62 worth of fuel at Sheetz on Butler Pike in Grove City, then left without paying. Anyone with information should call police at 724-662-6162.11 p.m. Dec. 5 — A car driven by Michael Weiss of Harrisville crashed into a house along Route 58 in Pine Township. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and other traffic violations. No injuries were reported.
12:33 p.m. Monday — Holly Zarlingo, 26, of New Castle was charged with retail theft after she allegedly failed to pay for $39.38 worth of gas at Sheetz at the intersection of Routes 388 and 422 in Slippery Rock Township.1:25 a.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by Aaron Wasielczyk, 20, of Zelienople struck a culvert and rolled onto its roof on Route 422 near Living Treasures Animal Park in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Wasielczyk was cited for underage drinking and careless driving.
