The Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Bowling League has announced it will split its Western Regional into two weekends this season.

The boys singles will be March 5, the boys team event March 6. Girls singles will be March 12, girls team event March 13. This decision enables the league to keep its usual number of qualifiers while keeping the bowlers spread out.

Butler, Freeport and Seneca Valley compete in the WPIBL.
