June 28 — Two women were arrested and charged in relation to a theft at Walmart in Cranberry Township.Ebony J. Chapman, 46, and Kathleen S. Chapman, 71, both of Pittsburgh, were charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after police said they tried to steal $631 worth of items by trying to leave the store without paying.11:40 a.m. June 25 — Two women were arrested and charged in relation to a theft at Walmart in Cranberry Township.Sara McGuire, 31, and Heather Ward, 31, both of Ellwood City, were charged with retail theft and conspiracy after police said they tried to steal $321 worth of items by hiding them in their clothing.June 24 — Erin M. Casey, 31, of Glenshaw, was charged with retail theft, related to a June 9 incident at Walmart in Cranberry Township.Police said they have surveillance footage showing Casey scanning a drinking cup valued at 50 cents in place of the nine items valued at more than $235 that she left with.

June 28 — Two men were charged following a fight at the Ginger Hill Tavern.Kurtis D. McClymonds, 33, of Portersville, and Parker L. Lumley, 21, of Slippery Rock, were charged with two counts of simple assault and two counts of harassment after police said the two exited the restaurant and began fighting a family who was outside the restaurant talking among themselves.Police said surveillance camera footage shows Lumley throwing the first punch and later shows both McClymonds and Lumley attacking at least one man.

June 28 — Daniel B. Frampton, 42, of Harrisville, was charged with a first-offense DUI following a March 21 crash on West Sunbury Road in Cherry Township.Police said Frampton was the driver in the single-vehicle crash and was taken by ambulance to Grove City Hospital for injuries suffered in the crash.Police said a blood test at the hospital showed his blood-alcohol content was 0.255%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.June 28 — Logan M. Smith, 19, of Renfrew, was charged with a first-offense DUI as a minor, stemming from a March 27 traffic stop on North Main Street Extension in Center Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Smith was intoxicated, and a later blood test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.062%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.June 28 — Patrick M. McHale, 43, of Harmony, was charged with a first-offense, controlled substance DUI, stemming from a Feb. 11 traffic stop on Oneida Valley Road in Oakland Township.Police said they stopped McHale's vehicle because they received a report that he was out of control after being fired from his job. Police said they found McHale in his truck smoking marijuana.Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test confirmed marijuana was in his system.June 28 — Amanda R. Brommer, 42, of Butler, was charged with possession of a controlled substance following a June 16 arrest in the Sheetz Parking Lot, 1100 Center Ave., Butler Township.Police said they found Brommer in her parked vehicle, and a check of her registration showed she had an active arrest warrant. Police said during her arrest, they found four stamp bags of suspected heroin, two baggies of suspected crack cocaine, as well as related drug paraphernalia.June 25 — Austin Coburn, 23, of Evans City, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, stemming from a Dec. 15 traffic stop in Cranberry Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for failing to end a turn signal. Police said they saw a bundle of heroin sticking out of Coburn's pocket. They said Coburn then pulled out the two bundles of heroin in his pocket. A bundle of heroin contains 10 stamp bags each.
