Above all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen was dearly loved, admired and respected by family, friends and relatives. She led by example, nurtured with great love and displayed a wonderful sense of humor.
There was never any doubt of the gratefulness Helen had for your presence in her day.
Before one could put his or her shoes on to walk out of her home from a visit (often filled with games of 500 Rummy, making Pierogies and indulging in Kit Kats) you were being kindly requested to “come back and see me soon!”
Until we meet again, Grandma Helen ... watch over the family, friends, neighbors and community that you shared your love with as a constant. The beautiful cards that you wrote to all of us over the years will forever be cherished as we try to walk in your footsteps ... living life with a tolerant, nonjudgmental, caring and philanthropic heart.
