Cranberry Twp. Police2:30 p.m. June 24 — A 34-year-old man was caught allegedly trying to buy three cellphones on another person’s account.Employees at the AT&T store on Route 19 reported that a customer was attempting to use a forged driver’s license to buy and activate three iPhones, valued at $2,850, and bill them to the account of a man from Yardley, Pa., according to court records.He also allegedly had a forged credit card on his person.Police arrived and arrested Jeremiah Berrios of Bridgeport, Conn., and charged him with felony forgery, felony identity theft, felony retail theft and misdemeanor possessing an instrument of crime. He is free on a $50,000 bond.5:05 p.m. June 30 — Police arrested Kelley L. Holland, 52, of Wexford for retail theft at the Giant Eagle on Route 19.Holland allegedly concealed grocery items valued at $57 in plastic shopping bags and in her purse before attempting to leave the store.Since she has two prior retail theft convictions, she is charged with felony retail theft. She is free on $5,000 bail.

Grove City Police8 p.m. July 1 — Police are investigating a reported hit-and-run of an unoccupied vehicle at the Grove City Salvation Army on West Main Street.Sometime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. an employee’s vehicle was struck and damaged by another vehicle.Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 724-458-7925.8 a.m. Friday — Police are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from the 200 block of Jackson Street. It was reported missing sometime overnight Thursday.The missing vehicle is a light-blue 2001 Kia Rio. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 724-458-7925.

State Police, ClarionJuly 1 — Two long guns were stolen from a storage unit at Bills’ Storage in Ashland Township. The burglary happened sometime between June 12 and July 1.The guns belong to Rick Zerbe, 49, of Knox.7:22 a.m. Friday — Someone stole several road signs and stop signs from Elder Road in Toby Township, Clarion County. Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call the Clarion barracks at 814-226-1710.5:39 p.m. Friday — Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that happened on Interstate 80 on the Emlenton Bridge in Richland Township, Clarion County.A vehicle towing a blue trailer sideswiped a Toyota Sienna when it moved from the left lane to the right lane causing the Toyota to crash into the cement wall of the bridge. Both vehicles were headed east.The Toyota was driven by Donna Barker of Ellwood City and had three passengers, all children. One of the passengers, a 9-year-old girl was taken to Clarion Hospital by Emlenton Ambulance for a minor injury.The other vehicle fled.
