SAXONBURG - District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:
Matthew Barkman, 36, of Clinton Township waived to court charges of theft by deception and identity theft, filed April 21 by state police.
Robert Bennett, 33, of Limestone, N.Y., was held for court on charges of DUI, speeding and failing to use his turn signal, filed May 21 by Penn Township police.
Patrick Burkhart, 42, of Center Township waived to court charges of DUI and careless driving, filed May 9 by state police.
Ray Carter, 23, of Freedom, Beaver County, waived to court charges of DUI, filed April 28 by Middlesex Township police.
Thomas Mellon, 19, of Middlesex Township waived to court charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, terroristic threats, criminal mischief, public drunkenness and underage drinking, filed July 7 by Middlesex Township police.
John Metzgar, 21, of Jefferson Township was held for court on charges of driving under the influence and reckless endangerment, filed April 13 by state police.
Jason Rodgers, 22, of Middlesex Township waived to court charges of DUI, filed April 28 by Middlesex Township police.
CRANBERRY TWP - District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:Joshua Jay Kish, 23, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged July 2 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, recklessly endangering another person, fleeing or attempting to allude an officer, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, disregard of traffic lane and reckless driving.Donald Scott Henning, 42, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged March 22 by the Cranberry Township police with receiving stolen property, public drunkenness and displaying a known fictitious/stolen state vehicle inspection sticker.David Craig Smith, 22, of Sewickley, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged March 22 by the Cranberry Township police with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct.Anna M. Cairns, 39, of Pittsburgh waived her case to court. She was charged Oct. 9, 2003, by the Cranberry Township police with five counts of theft by unlawful taking, five counts of receiving stolen property, 12 counts of theft by deception and 12 counts of receiving stolen property.
WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:Eric J. Bell, 34, of Jackson Center had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged him with driving under the influence on Bestwick Road in Jackson Township June 3.Tabitha L. Johnson, 36, of Greenville had her case held for court. State police in Mercer charged her with criminal trespassing for allegedly entering a Jackson Township home June 1. A charge of burglary was withdrawn.Shawn M. King, 24, of Fredonia had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged him with driving under the influence, and disregarding traffic on Route 62 in Jackson Township March 19.Adam R. Moyer, 19, of Stoneboro waived his case to court. State police in Mercer charged him with driving under the influence, driving under the influence by a minor, purchase of alcohol by a minor, driving at an unsafe speed, and a minor operating a vehicle with alcohol June 11 on Foxmine Road in Jackson Township following an incident where Moyer's vehicle went off the road into a field.
SLIPPERY ROCK - District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:Stephen T. Gilkinson, 19, of Wattsburg, Erie County, waived his case to court. Slippery Rock University police charged him with possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and purchase of alcohol by a minor June 12 in Slippery Rock Township.David J. Hilliard, 44, of Slippery Rock waived his case to court. Slippery Rock police charged him with use/possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a high rate of blood alcohol, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, driving without a license, restrictions on alcohol, and disorderly conduct June 10 at the McDonald's in Slippery Rock.Harry P. Modaffair, 24, of Grove City had his case held for court. He was charged by state police in Butler with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a high rate of blood alcohol, failure to keep right, careless driving, and depositing waste on the highway on May 7 on Franklin Street in Slippery Rock.
