The Art Center, 344 S. Main St., continues "Crullers to Crawlers" watercolors by Bill Perry, paintings by Butler artist Carl McGrady and photography by Norman Schumm through Friday. The annual Holiday Show and Sale will be held from Dec. 5 to Jan. 2. Regular hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 3 to 6 to 9 p.m. Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., features a display of white elephants and other ivory pieces plus 19 Japanese samurai dolls and the permanent exhibits of hundreds of pieces of ancient and contemporary Asian art as well as Meissen porcelain. Regular museum hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays; closed Mondays and holidays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8; children must be accompanied by an adult. Tours are led by trained docents and are available with advance notice. The museum has a gift shop with decorative art objects relating to China and Japan. Call 724-282-0123.

<B>Pittsburgh Glass Center</B>, 5472 Penn Ave., hosts these current glass-making opportunities: Ornament Three Pack from Dec. 2 to 4 or Dec. 16 to 18; Jewelry Three-Pack Dec. 9 to 11; Fusing Three-Pack Dec. 9 to 11; and Hotshop Three-Pack, also Dec. 9 to 11. Make reservations. Exhibited is Susan Taylor Glasgow's exhibition "Absence of Body," through Jan. 9. The center will be closed through Sunday and then Dec. 21 to Jan. 5. <B>Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts</B>, 124 E. Leasure Ave., New Castle, presents "A Very Beatles Christmas" in the decorated Period House on Dec 9, featuring student created art, literature, live music, and film, A Very Beatles Christmas will present the band as the musical iconoclasts of the 20th century amid holiday décor, home cooked holiday hors d'oeuvres and beverages. The event, which starts at 7 p.m. will cost $3 and will conclude around 9 p.m. Tickets are available in advance by calling 724-652-2882, or at the door.
