Butler Township Police12:58 p.m. — A car driven by a 17-year-old woman was rear-ended on New Castle Road at its intersection with Hindman Road.The 17-year-old was stopped for traffic when her car was struck by a Ford Expedition driven by Adrienne Sauter, 46, of Butler.

State Police, Butler7:26 a.m. Thursday — Brian W. Frank, 36, of Prospect crashed his car into a vehicle driven by Carl W. Deiters, 65, of Cincinnati, Ohio, at the intersection of Route 422 and Currie Road in Muddy Creek Township.Frank lost control of his car on the wet road while turning right onto Currie Road and hit Deiters’ car.Frank was charged with driving at an unsafe speed.

State Police, New CastleJuly 21 — Unknown suspects removed $100 in change from the porch of a Big Run Road home in Slippery Rock Township.

State Police, MercerJuly 11 — All-terrain vehicle riding boots and clothing were stolen from a car parked in the driveway of an Old Ash Road home in Springfield Township. The theft happened between midnight and 8 a.m.
