DONEGAL TWP — Culvert work on Route 68 between Chicora Medical Center Road and Landmark Alley will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, according to a PennDOT news release.
Motorists are asked to remain alert in this area, where Gregori Construction will install erosion and sediment controls.
A temporary culvert will be installed upstream of the Buffalo Creek Bridge.
The project cost is $2.6 million.
Traffic control resulting from the work will begin in April.
JEFFERSON TWP — Diane Ciafre, the guidance office secretary at Knoch High School, celebrated her last day of work Friday.Ciafre retired after 19 years with the South Butler County School District, all in the guidance office.Many students, teachers and staff members stopped by her office to wish Ciafre a happy retirement.Ciafre worked at the Butler Area School District for one-and-a-half years before moving to South Butler.
