5:45 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Alfred H. Hurst, 44, of Lyndora crashed on Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township. Hurst had moderate injuries and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment. Saxonburg Boulevard was closed for an hour after the crash.4:55 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Glenn A. Cummins, 43, of Hilliards and a vehicle driven by Neil Kisner Jr., 37, of Butler collided on Oneida Valley Road in Washington Township. Cummins had moderate head and internal injuries and was flown to UPMC Presbyterian for treatment. Both men were wearing seat belts.Friday — Someone stole several pieces of gold jewelry belonging to a Chicora woman from the bedroom of a residence on Kittanning Pike in Fairview Township. The jewelry is valued at $1,125. Anyone with information should call state police at 724-284-8100.7:15 p.m. Thursday — Someone damaged the windshield of a Chevy van belonging to Thomas L. Rossman, 69, of Butler while it was parked at the Homestead Restaurant on Route 528 in Connoquenessing Township. Anyone with information should call state police at 724-284-8100.2:10 p.m. Thursday — Lindsay Lee Skander, 25, of Butler was arrested for retail theft following an incident at J.C. Penney at Clearview Mall in Center Township. She was released on bond.6 p.m. Wednesday — Robert Wright Jackson, 30, of Butler was arrested for the alleged theft of a laptop valued at $1,200 from the vehicle of his estranged wife Christina Lynn Jackson, 29, also of Butler8 p.m. Tuesday — Someone threw a glass bottle through the front window at the Robbie Way residence of Bryan L. Conner in Portersville. Damage is estimated at $100. Anyone with information should call state police at 724-284-8100.
7:30 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Elliot C. Gilbert, 39, of New Castle and a triaxle truck driven by Harvey A. Smith, 56, of New Castle collided on Route 388 near Old Princeton Road in Slippery Rock. Gilbert had a minor injury in the crash and was not wearing a seat belt. Gilbert was cited for traffic violations related to the crash.
