Heade 50th anniversary
Larry and Sylvia Heade of Saxonburg will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house Sunday at St. Luke's Centennial Hall in Saxonburg. The event will be hosted by their family.
The former Sylvia Bargerstock married Heade on Oct. 19, 1957, at Zion Evangelical Baptist Church in Sarver.
They have two children, Sherri Heade of Saxonburg and Mark Heade of Cabot.
The also have a granddaughter.
Heade is a retired law enforcement supervisor for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. He has served in the Marine Corps and is a life member of the Bantam Marines Detachment 743 and the Marine Corps Military Order Devil Dogs 213.
Mrs. Heade worked in the offices of DuCo Ceramics, Saxonburg Ceramics and H&R Block.
The couple belongs to Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver.
