Police10:39 a.m. Thursday — Jeremy Yenick, 19, of Butler was cited for a yield sign violation after colliding with a tanker truck on Route 422.Yenick did not yield to oncoming traffic when he merged onto Route 422 from the Route 8 ramp and struck the side of the truck.The contact caused a valve to shear off the truck, spilling about five gallons of oil onto the road.The state Department of Transportation responded and poured sand on the spill.9:38 a.m. Thursday — A 15-year-old boy at Butler Intermediate High School was charged with possession of a knife on school property.
