[naviga:h3]‘Daniel Rocket’ opens at BLT[/naviga:h3]
Butler Little Theatre will open “The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket” by Peter Parnell on Friday at the BLT, One Howard St.
The first half of the play visits a handful of 12-year-old sixth-grade students and the unique Daniel. The second act takes place 20 years later as Daniel is a celebrity. Themes include isolation, simple joys and how people respond to things they don’t understand.
Curtain is at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sunday, and 7:30 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

ADAMS TWP — Opus I Music Society will continue its course of study of “Connections: Who Knew?” when Kathy Csellar presents “The Immortal Beloved” on Monday.
This program will discuss Beethoven, who wrote a famous love letter to a nameless beloved.
Connections to Mozart, Haydn, Salieri, Czerny, Liszt and Napoleon also will be discussed.
The program will take place at LifePointe Alliance Church, 997 Route 228.
Refreshments and networking begin at 9:30 a.m. in the music room followed by the program at 10 a.m.
Admission is free.
