These items have been collected from various police departments.

Jan. 13 — Kelly M. Clark, 43, of Saxonburg, was charged with submitting false information earlier this month on an application for a state license to carry firearms. The application was rejected Jan. 8 by the Pennsylvania Instant Check System, which is run by the state police. Clark is charged with unsworn falsification to authorities.

7:04 p.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Jodi L. Ithen, 45, of Parker, struck a deer on Route 478 just north of Jackson Road in Richland Township, Clarion County. Neither she nor her passenger, a 12-year-old Parker boy, was injured.10:05 a.m. Jan. 13 — Dale H. Rhoades, 63, of Emlenton, lost control of his SUV on an ice patch, striking an embankment and rolling onto its driver's side on Baker Road at Nickelville Road in Salem Township. He was not injured, but his vehicle had to be towed. Police cited Rhoades for driving too fast for conditions.

8:19 a.m. Monday — Jennifer Belair, 22, of Slippery Rock, lost control of her vehicle on George Junior Road because of snowy road conditions and struck a guardrail. No injuries were reported.8:15 p.m. Jan. 13 — Joshua Ross, 30, of Parker was arrested for allegedly having a gun without a carry license, drugged driving and other charges following a traffic stop on West Main Street. Ross was arraigned on a felony charge of carrying a firearm without a license and misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He also was cited for driving with a suspended license and driving a vehicle with an obscured license plate. He was placed in Mercer County Jail on $50,000 bond following arraignment.
