CRANBERRY TWP - District Justice Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:
Stephanie L. Giczi, no age available, of Evans City pleaded guilty to use and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was charged March 17 by the Cranberry Township police. She was ordered to pay $200 plus court costs.
Kristy Keister, 20, of Beaver Falls, Beaver County, pleaded guilty to driving unlicensed while holding a learner's permit and providing false identification to a law enforcement officer. She was charged Oct. 14 by the Cranberry Township police. She was ordered to pay a $50 fine plus court costs.
Matthew Richard Bach, 21, of Cranberry Township pleaded guilty to accident involving death and injury, not properly licensed and driving with a suspended license. He was charged Oct. 25 by Cranberry Township police. He was ordered to pay a $400 fine plus court costs.
Brian Adkins, 21, of Beaver Falls, Beaver County, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license and providing false identification to a law enforcement officer. He was charged Oct. 25 by Cranberry Township police. He was ordered to pay a $225 fine plus court costs.
Scott E. Stephenson, 28, of Cranberry Township pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and use and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged Nov. 23 by Butler County Sheriff's detectives. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine plus court costs.
EVANS CITY --- District Justice Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:William Thomas Caldwell, 56, of Renfrew waived his case to court. He was charged Oct. 19 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to keep right and not using low beams.Michelle Lee Crispin, 33, of Renfrew waived her case to court. She was charged Nov. 1 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol and stop sign violation.Danielle L. Rearick, 22, of Evans City waived her case to court. She was charged Nov. 24 by the state attorney general with two counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, attempted manufacturing/delivery/possession with intent to manufacture or deliver narcotics and criminal use of a communications facility.Adam Paul Harris, 22, of Lyndora waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 15 by the state police with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.Gary L. Heimstead, 48, formerly of Connoquenessing Township, now of McDonald, Washington County, waived his case to court. He was charged Sept. 8 by the state police with intercepting communications and possessing a devise to intercept communications.Marci Ann Critchlow, 22, of Renfrew waived her case to court. She was charged Nov. 16 by the Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, depositing waste on the highway and disregard to a traffic lane.Victoria S. Loomis, 40, of Rochester, Beaver County, had her case held to court. She was charged Oct. 20 by the Zelienople police with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of a controlled substance, use and possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving.John P. Jordan, 69, of Slippery Rock waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 2 by the Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol.
WORTH TWP, Mercer County - These cases were heard by District Justice Lawrence Silvis, Jackson Center, on Nov. 24:Jason D. Kostelansky, 24, of Grove City was held for court on one count of simple assault and one count of harassment. He was arrested Sept. 10 by state police in Mercer for hitting Christin Ross Wilson in the face at Sheetz on June 17. He was released on $1,000 bond under the condition that he have no contact with Wilson, not be near Sheetz and not use alcohol or drugs.Brent A. Campbell, 32, of Stoneboro was held for court on one count each of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He was arrested by state police in Mercer on Oct. 5 for stealing $1,000 and a handgun valued at $380 from the home of Thomas and Gara Kristyak. He was released on $1,000 bond.George P. Lynn, 52, of Pittsburgh was held for court on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, and one count each of having a high blood alcohol content, exceeding the speed limit, disobeying previous alcohol restrictions and not wearing a seat belt. He was arrested Oct. 27 by state police in Mercer on Route 80 in Pine Township. He was released on his own recognizance.Ronald Elford Jr., 33, of Grove City had his case lessened to a non-traffic citation after being arrested Oct. 8 the Mercer County District Attorney's office on one count of bad checks. He allegedly issued a total of $520 in checks with the Grove City Area Federal Credit Union. He was ordered to pay $735.75 in restitution and other fees.These case was heard Dec. 8:Thomas W. Bennett, 19, of Mercer, was held for court on three counts of arson and one count each of burglary and criminal mischief. He was arrested Oct. 20 by the state police in Mercer for accompanying a juvenile who was accused of committing arson. The juvenile allegedly set fire to the home of Georgia Barnes, of 597 Stoneboro Road, Jackson Center. Barnes' home and its contents were destroyed.
