Butler residents Danielle Simmer and Aaron Dickey exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 p.m. July 3 at Hill United Presbyterian Church in Butler. The Rev. Clark Sawyer officiated. A reception was held at the Garden Gate Restaurant.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Lois Simmer of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Ben Dickey of Tionesta and Mary Lou Myers of Florida.

The honor attendant was Beth DeSantis of Butler. Bridesmaids included Jillian Newcomb of Butler and Kristi Sabina of Hampton Township.

Performing the duties of best man was Christopher Thompson of Butler. Ushers included Christopher Racey of Little Rock, Ark., and Mark Wise of Butler.

The bride graduated in 1993 from Butler High School and in 1994 from the North Hills School of Health Occupations. She works for Dr. Jeffrey Bauer and Dr. William Manganaro of Gibsonia.

The bridegroom graduated in 1993 from Knoch High School. He works for AK Steel in Butler.

The couple is living in Butler Township.
