Linda C. Penrod

Linda C. Penrod, 58, of Liberty Street, Grove City, went with her Holy Father on Wednesday evening after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.

Born May 10, 1949, in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of Hammond R. and Laura Davies Bucholtz.

She graduated from the Jacksonville Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Miami, Fla., as a registered nurse in 1970.

She was a registered nurse for Visiting Nurses Association for 10 years and worked at various nursing homes in the area before she retired.

Mrs. Penrod was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Grove City.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

Surviving are her husband, Terry L. Penrod, whom she married Dec. 20, 1969; a son, Terry L. Penrod Jr. and his wife, Shari, of Butler; two grandchildren, Mario and Merritt Penrod; two sisters, Imogene Allen of North Carolina and Shelia Stokely and husband George of Tennessee; and two brothers, Everett Duckett and his wife, Mary, of South Carolina and Ellis Duckett of Washington, D.C.

<B>Penrod</B> — Friends of Linda C. Penrod, who died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Columbia Avenue, Grove City, with the Rev. James Seely officiating. The family will also receive friends from 9 a.m. to the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.Memorial tributes can be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
