PETROLIA — There will be a craft and vendor show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 15 at the Petrolia Social Hall, 200 Argyle St.

The event will include more than 30 vendors, a basket auction, door prizes and food.

The show benefits the Petrolia VFD ambulance service. Admission is free.

CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, will host Holocaust survivor Aron Bell at 6 p.m. April 24.

Born Aron Bielski, Bell is a Polish-American Jew and former member of the Bielski partisan group portrayed in the movie “Defiance.”

The Bielski group was the largest force of armed rescuers of Jews during World War II.

The library is hosting Bell’s appearance in conjunction with history teacher James Lucot and Classrooms Without Borders.
