JOHNSONBURG — Caden Rainey scored 16 points, but Union’s boys basketball team dropped a 48-47 decision at Johnsonburg in a District 9 Class 1A consolation game Wednesday night.

The loss ended the Golden Knights’ season.

Union trailed 38-31 entering the fourth quarter, but its rally fell short. Zander Laughlin added 10 points.

Jake Lobaugh paced Johnsonburg with 15 points.
