Operation BBQ Relief will distribute one free family meal box at noon on Saturday to cars lined up on Race Street behind the Salvation Army on West Cunningham Street.
The boxes will be handed out until supplies are exhausted.
Families are asked to arrive no earlier than 11:30 a.m. Race Street should be accessed from West Diamond Street.
[naviga:h3]Eat‘n Park will offer basic grocery items for pickup[/naviga:h3]
Both Butler Eat‘n Park locations will offer basic grocery items during the coronavirus pandemic to tide customers over until they feel safe to shop in a grocery store.
Local milk, cheese, cottage cheese and bread, tomatoes and cucumbers, Eat‘n Park ranch dressing and baked breakfast items, plus toilet paper and napkins are available at the drive-up windows.
Customers can select items on Eat‘n Park’s online ordering page by clicking “groceries,” or by calling one of the restaurants.
Customers can pick up just groceries, just their meal or both.
[naviga:h3]Buy a pizza, give one to someone campaign starts[/naviga:h3]
Each customer who picks up an order at Pizza Joe’s on a Tuesday will be given a certificate for a free pizza to give to a friend, neighbor or employee who could use encouragement during the coronavirus pandemic.
The campaign will begin Tuesday and conclude May 26.
Each location will donate up to 20 free pizza certificates to customers who make a purchase.
The Butler County locations are North Main Street in Butler, Evans City Road in Butler Township, Chicora, Cranberry Township and Portersville.
Customers who receive free pizza certificates can enter to win a World Changer, Pizza Eater T-shirt.
Pizza Joe’s encourages customers to share social distance selfies by tagging Pizza Joe’s on Instagram or Facebook and using the hashtag #worldchangerpizzaeater to enter. Pizza Joe’s will select winners from the entries and share the stories received.
