Concordia will host a free fishing derby at Saxony Farm Estate, located at Addy Boy Lane in Saxonburg, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 22.

The event is for children 14 and under. A fishing license is not needed for children under 16, but all children will require a chaperone.

Hot dogs and refreshments will be available, and prizes will be awarded. A limited number of fishing poles will be on hand for children to borrow, but participants are encouraged to bring their own.

Social distancing will be encouraged, enhanced cleaning procedures will be in place, and disposable masks will be available for those who would like one. Take lawn chairs or blankets as well, if possible. Concordia will provide bait.
