Aug. 9 — Devin L. Parker, 32, of Butler, was charged with simple assault, related to an Aug. 2 incident.Police said they responded to the ER of Butler Memorial Hospital for a reported assault. Police said Parker's girlfriend told officers he punched her in the side of the face several times.Police said she had bruising on her face consistent with her statement.Aug. 5 — Ryan M. Crissman, 37, of Butler, was charged with simple assault and terroristic threats, related to an Aug. 3 incident at his home on West Pearl Street in Butler.Police said Crissman's girlfriend locked herself out of the house, and she went to try the basement door. According to police, the girlfriend said Crissman dragged her into the house, dragged her around the basement and threatened to kill her.Police said there were visible injuries to the girlfriend that aligned with her story.

Aug. 9 — Jesse D. Carr, 36, of Butler, was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession, related to drugs allegedly found in a resident's apartment at Deshon Place.Detectives said Carr was not home and the building had been evacuated for a fire alarm when the drugs and items were found.Police said sitting on a kitchen table were about 11.7 grams of crystal meth, multiple loose prescription medications, a digital scale, meth pipes and a butane torch.

6:22 p.m. Aug. 11 — Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Brady Paul Lane.Dennis Davis, 42, of Zelienople, attempted to make a left turn out of the Farm Show grounds when his vehicle was struck by the car of Griffin Henderson, 26, of Renfrew. Henderson suffered a minor injury, and both vehicles had to be towed from the roadway.Davis was charged with vehicles turning left.11:29 a.m. Aug. 10 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 422 at the on-ramp for Route 8.Police said David Smith, 71, of Rural Valley, was driving a tri-axle dump trunk when he made a lane change from right to left and pushed another vehicle, driven by Kristen Gonzalez, 30, of Butler, into the concrete center median.Police said Smith was uninjured and Gonzalez refused treatment at the scene. Smith was cited for leaving his lane.7:32 a.m. Aug. 10 — Police responded to a one vehicle crash on Route 422 between the Lyndora and Route 8 exits.Police said Valerie Blakeslee, 37, of Butler, hydroplaned and crashed into a guardrail, then swerved out of control back across the other side of the road and into a center barrier.Police said Blakeslee reported minor injuries.Aug. 9 — Justin M. Delancey, 31, of Butler, was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession following an investigation into an alleged retail theft at Family Dollar in Butler Township.Police said Delancey was looking for identification when police spotted a capped syringe in the bag. Police said they confiscated the bag and found six stamp bags of suspected heroin as well as other paraphernalia.Aug. 8 — Robert J. Kissick, 32, of Butler, was charged with simple assault and harassment, related to the alleged assault of a roommate.According to police, a woman who lives with Kissick, but is not romantic with him, was in her bedroom when her son and Kissick entered the home.Police said she told officers she heard Kissick push his way into the room and he got on top of her. She told police her son pulled Kissick off of her, and then Kissick left the room.Police said the woman had cuts on her left eye and her upper chest. Police said there was damage to the door as well as other evidence that aligned with the woman's story.Aug. 5 — Brianna N. O'Malley, 25, of Butler, was charged with retail theft, related to an alleged theft July 12 at Walmart in Butler Township.Police said O'Malley attempted to leave the store with about $931 worth of items, which included food and clothing. Police said O'Malley never attempted to pay for any of the items.Police said she told officers she was looking for her mother, who was supposed to help her pay for some of the items.Aug. 5 — Charles W. Nasiadka, 50, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, related to a report of a man passed out in a truck at the McDonald's drive-thru in Butler Township.Police said they found the truck stationary between the two drive-thru windows, and Nasiadka was passed out behind the wheel. Police said they saw a bottle of whiskey in the cupholder.Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.159%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.

Aug. 11 — Brittany M. Wilcox, 29, of Harmony, was charged with a first-offense DUI following an April 28 vehicle crash on the Route 422 off ramp in Muddy Creek Township.Police said Wilcox was identified as the driver, and she told officers she was on her way home from getting medication when she fell asleep and crashed.Police said blood testing showed Wilcox had methadone in her system.Aug. 11 — Alvin E. Berry, 44, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a first-offense DUI, related to a 911 hang-up call in Moraine State Park.Police said while speaking with the caller, her boyfriend, Berry, arrived. Police said his license was DUI suspended, and they could smell alcohol on him.Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana in his system as well as a blood-alcohol content of 0.136%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.Aug. 10 — John P. Proctor, 35, of Buffalo, N.Y., was charged with a first-offense DUI and drug paraphernalia possession, related to multiple reports Aug. 9 of an erratic driver on Interstate 79.Police said they stopped the vehicle in Muddy Creek Township after seeing it cross the center line. Police said field sobriety tests showed Proctor was impaired, and he later refused to submit a blood sample for testing. Police said during the stop, they saw and seized two smoking devices.Aug. 9 — James H. Slimick, 59, of Sarver, was charged with simple assault and harassment, related to dispute at his home on Stark Road in Clinton Township.Police said a woman told officers she and Slimick got into an argument, and she left the home. She told police Slimick followed her in his car, then parked his vehicle in front of hers.According to police, the woman claimed Slimick pulled her from her vehicle and threw her to the ground before she fled from him. Police said the woman had injuries consistent with her story.Aug. 5 — Lee E. Fosnaught, 56, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a July 23 traffic stop at the intersection of Route 8 and Swamp Run Road in Center Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Police said when asked he admitted to drinking before driving, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.Police said a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.179%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08%.
