11:04 p.m. Saturday — Steven Podobensky, 18, of Butler is accused of starting a fight with James Pryor, 33, of Butler on Chestnut Street.Officers were called and found Podobensky visibly intoxicated, according to a police report. He was given a portable breath test that showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.15 percent. Alevel of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.Police said Podobensky was cited for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking.Saturday — An unknown thief between 8 p.m. Friday and 9:45 a.m. Saturday stole a black tool box containing assorted tools from a pickup truck at the St. Mary's Street home of Mark Sarver. The tool box was on the passenger side floor of the unlocked truck.

3:02 a.m. Sunday — Randolph Dahl Jr., 29, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Pittsburgh Pike and West Rockenstein Avenue. In addition to DUI, he faces charges for driving with a suspended license and a lighting violation.

9:25 a.m. Monday — Apickup truck driven by Jacob Logsdon, 20, of Pavilion, N.Y., traveled into the median and rolled over on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. James Fagan, 38, of Leicester, N.Y., a passenger, suffered minor injuries. Police said Logsdon was cited for careless driving.Monday — A money bag was reported stolen from a desk at Quality Auto Sales on Route 8 in Center Township. The theft occurred between 11 p.m. Sunday and 8:45 a.m. Monday.Sunday — An unknown thief between 10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday took the Pennsylvania license plate GTD-8190 from a vehicle at the Beacon Lite Trailer Park in Center Township.Sunday — Eight people were arrested for DUI during a sobriety checkpoint operation between 10 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday on Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township.Police said 259 vehicles were stopped during the detail. In addition to the DUI arrests, officers issued 28 summary vehicle code violations, four summary crimes code violations and 33 written warnings.

Monday — Police reported that a 22-year-old man is suspected of sexually assaulting two children during a summer 2005 overnight camping trip in the Kennerdell area of Clinton Township.Investigators did not identify the suspect. The alleged victims are identified only as a 13-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy. Police said the investigation continues.
