State Police, ButlerJuly 30, 8:21 p.m. — An unknown driver crashed into a car being driven by Kathleen C. Dye, 70, of Burgettstown on Interstate 79. Before the driver could give their information, the driver drove away. No injuries were reported.July 30 10:20 a.m. — While turning off Browns Mill Road onto Brownsdale Road, Steven c. Bayer, 64, of Butler failed to see a car being driven on Brownsdale Road being driven by Kenn G. Prokopchak, 51, of Mars and the two crashed. No injuries were reported, but the car being driven by Prokopchak had to be towed away.July 28, 6:36 a.m. — Mitch A. Dimaria, 20, of West Sunbury drove a car he was operating off Route 488 while going south. The car went over a hill and crashed into several trees. The car was disabled, but no injuries were reported.July 26, 6:21 a.m. — Robert F. Smith, 22, of Worthington allegedly didn’t completely stop at a red light on Victory Road onto Glade Mill Road. Smith drove into the path of a car and hit it. Smith’s car sustained disabling damage. No injuries were reported.
