Esther Steinbach

Esther Miller Steinbach, 85, of Marion Township went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday.

Born March 29, 1920, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of Walter C. and Lila M. Frazier Miller.

Mrs. Steinbach was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople, where she belonged to the Women's Association. She was a former member of the North Sewickley Women's Club.

She loved the Lord and enjoyed cooking and homemaking and had assisted her husband with their dairy farm.

She is survived by two sons, Jay Steinbach and his wife, Mary, of New Sewickley Township and Dale Steinbach and his wife, Ellie, of Marion Township; two daughters, Lila Lorenz and her husband, Anthony, of Florida and Amy McClaine and her husband, Gale, of Butler; a brother, Raymond Miller of Hot Springs, Ark; and a sister, Evelyn Lutz of New Sewickley Township. Six grandchildren, Dean Steinbach, Susan Steinbach Imbraile, Rachel Steinbach Sauders, David Steinbach, James Lorenz and Raymond Lorenz; three step-grandsons, Gale Jr., Bryan and Brent McClaine; three great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Steinbach, who died July 12, 2004; a brother, Earl Miller; and a sister, Ruth Leonberg.

STEINBACH - Friends of Esther Miller Steinbach, who died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday atBOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. N. Graham Standish, her church pastor, officiating. Private burial will be at the St. John's Burry's Church Cemetery, New Sewickley Township.Memorial donations may be made to Calvin Presbyterian Church, 415 E.
