Calvin and Ronna Wonderly of Renfrew celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the Kaufman House in Zelienople. They also celebrated with a trip to Scotland and Ireland.

The former Ronna Rettig married Wonderly on Sept. 11, 1954, at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have four children, James Wonderly of Mars, Lauren Way of Valencia, Kristina Mulig of Connoquenessing and Rachel Flow of Conyers, Ga.

They also have eight grandchildren.

Wonderly is retired from GSA in Pittsburgh. He plays the bagpipes with the Syria Highlanders Band.

Mrs. Wonderly is retired from Meals on Wheels of Pittsburgh.

The couple belongs to Trinity Lutheran Church.
