12:18 a.m. Saturday — Three vehicles parked on South Street were hit after a car driven by Geran Koziar, 19, of Butler backed into one of the vehicles.The chain of events was put into motion when Koziar's car accidentally backed into the front of a parked car owned by Cheryl Tucker of Butler. Tucker's car went backward into the front of a parked pickup truck owned by William Rearick of Summit Township.Tucker's car then went across the road and struck the side of a third parked car owned by Jessica Cartwright of New Bethlehem, Clarion County. Koziar's car, meanwhile, continued backward and hit the front of Rearick's pickup. Police cited Koziar for improperly backing a vehicle.9:54 p.m. Friday — Terrance Burke, 59, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Race Street at the Farmer's Market. Police also cited Burke for driving without a license and a red light violation.

11:30 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Brian D. Crawford, 34, of Fenelton struck a concrete culvert and rolled onto its roof in a crash on Valvoline Road in East Butler. Police cited Crawford for driving too fast for conditions.5:40 a.m. Sunday — A Petrolia man was seriously injured when his pickup truck for an unknown reason crossed the centerline and collided with a bucket truck on Route 68 in Donegal Township.Robert Wilkins, 75, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital before being flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Wilkins' condition was not known this morning. Police said he was not wearing a seat belt.Keith Hepler, 44, of Worthington, Armstrong County, who was driving the bucket truck, suffered minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.3:08 a.m. Sunday — A pickup driven by Daniel Christopher, 22, of Slippery Rock and a car driven by Craig Nuss, 48, of Grove City collided head-on at Routes 8 and 108 in SlipperyRock Township.Slippery Rock volunteer firefighters had to cut through the car to free Nuss. Police said Nuss, who suffered serious injuries, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. His condition was not known this morning.Christopher was also treated at Butler Memorial for moderate injuries. Police said both drivers were wearing seat belts.5:15 p.m. Saturday — Pickups driven by Lew Crider, 44, and William Bortz, 56, both of Butler, collided on Route 422 at Mike's Motel in Franklin Township.A passenger in Crider's vehicle, Rosanne Crider, 44, of Butler, suffered unknown injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt. Police cited Lew Crider of driving too fast for conditions.4:10 p.m. Saturday — Two suspects, an unknown man and woman, were seen stealing scrap metal at the John Stanzione Co. on Brewer Road in Clinton Township.An employee at the scrap yard spotted the couple taking the property and chased them; however, the suspects ran to an awaiting vehicle and drove off toward Allegheny County.1:28 a.m. Saturday — Travis Thompson, 22, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 8 at the Eat-N-Park in Center Township.Saturday — An unknown thief Friday or Saturday stole an electric motor attached to an oil well on Moran Road in Summit Township.10:55 p.m. Friday — Patrick Geibel, 23, of Cabot was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Sunset and Covington drives in Center Township.6:01 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Joshua Kutzner, 21, of Oakdale, Allegheny County, and a pickup driven by John Udanis, 47, of Pittsburgh collided on Route 38 in Washington Township.Friday — A collection of old coins valued at between $500 and $1,000, as well as seven packs of cigarettes, were stolen between 7 a.m. 6:50 p.m. in a burglary at the Hooker Road home of Gloria Collins in Concord Township.11:30 p.m. Thursday — Acar driven by Chad Williams, 21, of Karns City and an SUV driven by Ronald Kerr, 37, of Volant, Lawrence County, collided at Halston and Beaver Dam roads in Clay Township.April 9 — Two paint guns and a fluorescent light were taken April 8 or 9 from a garage in burglary at the Pine Street home of Ryan Deer in Parker, Armstrong County.8:30 p.m. March 16 — KimberlyAnn Oberc, 47, of Butler was arrested for DUI on Route 68 in Butler Township.

2:30 a.m. Sunday — Garry Lee Myers Jr., 31, of Rimersburg was arrested for allegedly assaulting Beth Callender, 38, of Rimersburg at a Long Lane East home in Madison Township, Clarion County. Callender suffered a bruised and swollen right eye and other facial injuries.Myers was arraigned on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, false imprisonment and harassment, and placed in the Clarion County Jail on $5,000 bond.

12:55 a.m. Saturday — David Beilstein, 23, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence while operating an all-terrain vehicle on Yellow Dog Road in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County.10:43 p.m. Friday — Two Butler County men were injured when their ATV crashed into a wooden storage shed at Yellow Dog and Mellon Hollow roads in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County.Chad Blum, 25, of Butler, the driver, was flown by medical helicopter with moderate injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning. Matthew Hertzig, 25, of Karns City, a passenger, suffered minor injuries. Police said neither man was wearing a helmet.Friday — Joseph Leroy Grafton, 37, of Worthington was arrested for allegedly stealing a pickup truck March 31 and then crashing the vehicle on Craigsville Road in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County.Police said Grafton, after the wreck, ran from the crash site. He was later arrested on a warrant and arraigned on 12 charges stemming from the theft and crash. He is in the Armstrong County Jail on $10,000 bond.Police said William Norrick, 46, of Worthington owns the pickup.

3:10 p.m. Friday — Acar driven by Corey Wimer, 25, of Slippery Rock rear-ended another car at Route 208 and Interstate 79 in Springfield Township, Mercer County. Police cited Wimer for driving too fast for conditions. Tara Rehar, 20, of Johnston, Cambria County, was driving the car hit in the crash.3:15 a.m. March 31 — Sonnya Amon, no age given, of Stoneboro was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at the Grove City Medical Center parking lot in Pine Township, Mercer County.
