A suspected drug dealer was arrested Thursday night after county narcotics officers raided his Lyndora home.

Ikeem Mobley, 24, apparently managed to flush some— not all — of his stash down the toilet before officers got into his house in the 100 block of Whitestown Road in Butler Township.

“Some made it down I’m sure,” said county Detective Tim Fennell, who heads the Butler County Drug Task Force. “What we recovered was still floating in the toilet.”

Retrieved were seven individually packaged bags of suspected crack cocaine.

Mobley was placed in the Butler County Prison to await arraignment Friday on felony and misdemeanor drug possession charges.

During the raid about 8:10 p.m., officers also arrested Shane Bates, 24, of Butler, who was at the home and was found to be wanted on an unrelated warrant. He, too, was placed in the county prison.

Fennell said the task force began investigating Mobley a month ago. Officers since mid-November conducted several controlled drug buys with the defendant.

He is suspected of trafficking in crack and heroin.

Authorities did not how long Mobley, a New York native, has been living at the Whitestown Road rental house. His girlfriend and their two children also live there.

The whole family was home when officers got there with the search warrant.

Along with the bags of crack, documents said, officers seized a digital scale, drug-packaging materials, cell phones, a computer note pad, a crack pipe, marijuana bong and a loaded 9 mm magazine.

Fennell said the investigation continues and others could be charged.
