5:59 p.m. Tuesday — Keith Buckley, 30, is accused of brandishing a knife during an argument at his Negley Avenue home with neighbor Joshua Lieberum.After police arrived, Buckley allegedly shouted an obscenity at the 25-year-old Lieberum, and continued using profane language, according to a police report. Police cited Buckley with disorderly conduct.11 a.m. Tuesday — An unidentified tractor-trailer struck the rear of a pickup truck parked at East Wayne and South Main streets, and did not stop after the crash. Robert Lindey of Slippery Rock owns the pickup.Tuesday — Amy Ruiz reported that someone during the past two days slashed two tires on her car at her North Monroe Street home.
3:38 a.m. Monday — Four people were arrested on drug-related charges following a disturbance at the Colonial Motel on New Castle Road.Charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were James Lauricia, 24, of Emlenton; and Rae Lee Holderman, 19, of Butler. Charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia were Rose Marie Cornly, 39, of Butler and a 17-year-old Butler girl, who police did not identify.Police said Cornly was placed in the Butler County Prison for a state probation violation.
8:50 a.m. Tuesday — A 16-year-old Prospect boy, who police did not identify, faces drug charges after suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in his vehicle at the Slippery Rock High School parking lot in Slippery Rock Township.Tuesday — Five handguns valued at $850 were taken from a glass display case between 11:50 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. in a burglary at the Knoch Road home of Michael Wylie in Clinton Township.The stolen guns included three black powder revolvers, a .22-caliber single shot revolver and a .38-caliber double action revolver. Also stolen in the burglary was a Butler High School class ring valued at $300; the ring has the initials "JM"on top of it.Tuesday — Arifle valued at $750 and a .50-caliber long gun valued at $850 were stolen between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. in a burglary at the Seeley Lane home of James and Jennifer Shaner in Worth Township.
