MARS — The Mars Public Library, 107 Grand Ave., plans the following events for this month:

4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 17, Craft Night: Yarn Winter Wreath. Take a 12-inch foam wreath base. The library will provide various yarn and embellishment selections. Registration is required. Sign up at the library or email cboland@marslibrary.org

10 to 11 a.m. Jan. 20, Baby Book Shower: Honoring You and Baby. The event is for baby parents-to-be, parents of babies and babies ages up to 18 months old. 5:30 to 7 p.m. Jan. 24, Save Your Photos. Participants will learn to create a back-up plan for treasured photos and videos. To register, call 724-625-9048 or email cboland@marslibrary.org

[naviga:h3]Church hosts Lego tournament[/naviga:h3]

MARS — Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, hosts its eighth annual Lego Tournament from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 20.

The event is for first through sixth-graders. It encourages creativity and imagination with five Lego-based competitions.
