11:44 a.m. Tuesday — Katelyn J. Messer, 23, whose address is not known, was allegedly caught with a plastic bag containing crack cocaine after being arrested on a bench warrant on West Penn Street.
Police said Messer also gave officers a bogus name.
She is charged with possession of a controlled substance and false identification to law enforcement authorities.
Tuesday — Police charged Dustin R. Lepinsky, 33, of Butler with having cocaine after they found him with a fugitive last month at the Pullman Square shopping plaza.
Lepinsky was with Kasey Dischman, who was picked up on two bench warrants, around 3:35 p.m. March 24. A pat-down search of Lepinsky turned up a drug smoking pipe, according to court documents.
He was also allegedly found with suspected cocaine inside a cigarette pack and suspected marijuana. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
10:25 p.m. Monday — Robert J. Armstrong, 39, of Butler was found with suspected marijuana and other contraband following a traffic stop on West Wayne Street near Upper Shore Street.
Police smelled marijuana coming from the car, according to court documents, and they searched the vehicle. Under the driver’s seat, an officer found a plastic bag with what appeared to be marijuana and a marijuana pipe.
Armstrong is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
11:45 a.m. Sunday — Sandra L. Kellar, 58, of Butler was allegedly caught shoplifting about $38 in merchandise at the Rite Aid store on North Main Street.
Kellar, who has one prior shoplifting conviction, is charged with a misdemeanor count of retail theft.

4:07 p.m. Tuesday — Kali Fazzoni, 34, of Butler was hurt in a chain-reaction wreck on Whitestown Road at Acre Avenue. The crash occurred when a vehicle driven by Kimberly S. Beining, 54, of Pittsburgh struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Amy Blaze, 42, of Butler.
Blaze’s vehicle was pushed into Fazzoni’s vehicle. Fazzoni suffered a minor injury. Beining’s vehicle had to be towed. Police cited Beining for driving too fast for conditions.
3:44 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Ralph Mariotti, 58, of Butler rear-ended a stopped postal truck on Meridian Road near Pinecrest Court. Eric Day, 33, of Butler was the other driver.
Mariotti’s vehicle had to be towed. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
1:56 p.m. Monday — One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash on Route 356 at Alameda Park Road. The wreck occurred when Susan Fletcher, 70, of Butler was unable to stop in time and struck the back of a vehicle driven by Goldie Deal, 57, of Butler.
The crash forced Deal’s vehicle into a vehicle driven by Deborah Kendrick, 58, of Hagerstown, Md. A police report did not identify who was injured in the wreck. One of the vehicles had to be towed.

3:29 p.m. Wednesday — Cassaundra L. Tack, 25, of Chicora was hurt when her vehicle was struck by another vehicle on Route 68 in Donegal Township. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
The other driver, Nicole M. Hobaugh, 32, of Chicora, was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.
Wednesday — Steven W. Dunmire, 25, of Mars was charged with drugged driving stemming from a March traffic stop in Butler. Police said he was stopped around 3 a.m. March 5 for having a faulty license plate light in the rear of North Washington and West New Castle streets.
Dunmire admitted that he had marijuana in his car, according to court documents, and police retrieved a bag with suspected marijuana in one of his pants pockets.
He was subsequently taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. Toxicology results allegedly showed he had marijuana and cocaine in his system.
In addition to allegedly driving under the influence of a controlled substance, Dunmire is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.
12:36 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Alaina M. Wike, 35, of East Brady and a pickup truck driven by Larry J. Bartley, 59, of East Butler collided on Route 68 at the Route 422 off-ramp in Summit Township.
No one was injured. Police cited Wike for running a red light.
9:06 p.m. Sunday — No one was injured when a pickup truck caught fire on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.
The driver, Ta L. Hall, 24, of Youngstown, Ohio, was southbound just south of Lindsay Road when he pulled off the highway. He said the engine compartment ignited fire. He and his two passengers got out.
Volunteer firefighters put out the fire. The truck had to be towed.
1:02 a.m. Saturday — Mary E. McDowell, 45, of Harrisville was arrested for DUI on Route 58 about two-tenths of a mile west of Route 38 in Eau Claire. She also is charged with disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving.
12:52 p.m. March 29 — No one was injured when a car driven by Ashley K. Alabran, 34, of Greenville, Mercer County, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Samantha D. Allen 21, of Charlottesville, Va., collided on Route 8 just north of Elgie Lane in Center Township.
11:22 a.m. March 29 — Antonio L. Rudolph, 24, of New Castle lost control of his SUV and struck a concrete barrier on Route 422 east near the Prospect exit in Franklin Township.
