Union’s boys and girls basketball teams experienced season-ending defeats Friday night in District 89 playoff games at Otto Eldred.

The boys received 22 points from Payton Johnston, 15 from Dawson Camper and 13 from Zander Laughlin in a 77-64 loss. Landon Francis led Otto Eldred with 24 points.

Otto Eldred outscored Union by 10 points in the third quarter to build its lead.

The Golden Damsels took a 52-22 defeat, being outscored 26-9 in the first half. Keira Croyle scored nine points for Union, but no other player scored more than three.

Anna Merry and Katie Sheeler scored 15 points each for Otto Eldred.
