Butler Police8:24 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Nichole Boloro, 33, of Butler struck two other vehicles driven by Jason R. Warynovich, 35, of Butler and Ian M. Moore, 19, of Chicora on South Main Street.Police said Boloro lost control of her vehicle due to ice conditions.3:50 p.m. Dec. 14 — Matthew L. Summerville was charged with possession of a controlled substance after he passed out at a bus stop on Center Avenue.Police said Summerville was extremely impaired at the stop. He told police he took a combination of different drugs after his prescribed methadone dose.Officers found 10 Ritalin tablets in his pants pocket after he was taken to the city police station to sober up.
Butler Twp PoliceMonday — Brittany L. Souders, 27, of Butler was charged with simple assault and harassment after police were dispatched to a home on South Duffy Road for a domestic altercation.Sunday — Two sisters are facing retail theft charges following an incident at Walmart in Butler Commons.Police said Amber M. Reges, 30, of Butler allegedly replaced the price tags of items with lower price tags that she removed from other merchandise.Her sister, Amanda M. Beeman, 27, of Butler, also was charged with retail theft for not paying for $132 worth of merchandise. Beeman also was charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.12:23 p.m. Saturday — There was a two-vehicle, head-on crash on Route 8 near Advance Auto.Police said a Chrysler Sebring driven by Joan Slomers, 47, of Butler was going southbound in the left lane when an SUV driven by Brodie Harris, 18, of Boyers pulled out in front of her.Both Harris and a passenger in the SUV were injured and taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. No charges were listed on the report.
State Police, ButlerMonday — Cody Craig, 28, of Chicora reported someone stole a pressure washer from the back porch of 107 Front St. in Chicora. The unknown suspect fled. The pressure washer is valued at $130.11:13 p.m. Saturday — A Jeep driven by Cynthia R. Grazioli, 45, of East Brady collided with a minivan driven by Nancy L. Snyder, 65, of Butler at the intersection of Chestnut and Cunningham streets in Butler.Police said Grazioli did not stop for the red light. Her Jeep collided with Snyder’s passing vehicle and was forced into a utility pole. Both vehicles were towed.Grazioli was cited for a traffic signal violation.Thursday — A car and a pickup truck collided on Centreville Pike in Brady Township. Police said John H. Fox, 24, of Butler was driving westbound at 65 to 70 mph when a pickup driven by Russel A. Kelley, 58, of Evans City attempted to pull onto the road. Police said Kelley was unable to see Fox approaching due to the car’s high speed.Fox swerved in an attempt to avoid the truck entering the road but the two vehicles collided.Fox was cited for driving at an unsafe speed and for an expired inspection.3:24 p.m. Dec. 2 — William Zulick, 52, of Prospect reported unknown suspects stole a 40-inch TV from his home on Douglas Street. The TV was valued at $316.
State Police, Kittanning4:05 p.m. Sunday — A Jeep crashed into two utility poles and a gas meter along Howes Run Road in Fawn Township, Allegheny County.Police said the vehicle was driven by a 58-year-old Sarver man, who they did not name.
